In the Centro Estadístico de Servicios (Center of Statistical Services) at Avda. Julio A. Roca 615 in the Federal Capital, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM, Mondays through Fridays. Its library freely serves the public and contains not only the INDEC's historical materials but also a great number of statistical information from both national and international sources.

What is the occupational condition of beneficiaries of the current employment programs?

This query refers to persons included in various national, provincial or municipal programs for employment promotion or for social coverage through an occupational program, namely: Plan trabajar [Program To Work]; Jefas/jefes de hogar [Female/Male Household Heads]; Primer empleo[First Job]; Bonaerense [Buenos Aires Province]; Familia sin trabajar[Jobless Family]; Barrial [Neighborhood]; Comunitario [Community]; Barrios Pro huerta [Neighborhood Kitchen-Gardens]; etc.

The person is included in an employment program during the reference week and he/she accordingly performs employment duties during that week:/TD> Ocupado asalariado con pago
[Paid salaried employee] The employment program is identified by (Se detecta el plan de empleo por):
Branch of activity: national/provincial/municipal public employee , and Question 18 a, Option 1: "It is an employment program" (Rama de actividad: administración pública municipal, provincial o nacional y pregunta 18 a, opción 1: "Es un plan de empleo").
The person is registered in an employment program and was waiting to be contacted during the reference week:/TD> Desocupado [Unemployed]
The employment program is identified if (Se detecta el plan de empleo si):
He/She is being paid in advance before starting to work and when asked about "not job-related earnings" (Question 48, Option "Otros ingresos" [Other sources of income]), answers "Has an employment plan."
No employment program will be assumed if (Se desconoce la existencia de plan de empleo si): the person as yet receives no payment from the future employment program.
The person has been awarded an employment program but does not perform any work activity. Inactivo[Inactive]
The employment program is identified if (Se detecta el plan de empleo si):
He/She is being paid but performs no work and when asked about "not job-related earnings" (Question 48, Option "Otros ingresos" [Other sources of income]), answers "Has an employment plan but does not perform any work."
No employment program will be assumed if (Se desconoce la existencia de plan de empleo si): although having been awarded an employment program, the person has not yet been paid.
